APL expands Eagle GO Guaranteed Service to 29 Asian ports to US
APL has extended its Eagle GO. Guaranteed service to call at 29 Asian ports on routes to North America. The service was initially launched last October with four Asian ports in China and Vietnam to move cargo across the Pacific.
"During the recent peak leading up to the Lunar New Year, shippers turned to APL's Eagle GO," said APL vice president Jesper Stenbak. "Guaranteed service to 25 more Asian ports, we seek to benefit more shippers, in particular those loading from the major ports of Busan, Jakarta, Qingdao and Xiamen amongst others."
Effective March 1, the shipping line's Eagle GO. Guaranteed service will apply to 15 US west coast services and seven US east coast loops.
The services call at Busan, Cai Mep, Dalian, Fuqing, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kaohsiung, Kobe, Laem Chabang, Lianyungang, Mundra, Nagoya, Naha, Guanhgzhou-Nansha, Mumbai-Nhava Sheva, Ningbo, Port Kelang, Port Qasim, Qingdao, Sendai, Shanghai, Shenzhen-Shekou, Singapore, Taipei, Tianjin, Tokyo, Xiamen, Shenzhen-Yantian and Yokohama.
The carrier's guaranteed service assures an expeditious discharge of cargo on board the EX1, SC1 and PE1 services at the Global Gateway South (GGS) terminal in Los Angeles. It also promises day-definite arrival of containers on the EX1 service from the GGS terminal to rail yards in Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, El Paso, Kansas City and Memphis.
